We're totally winning tomorrow. And so are the Detroit Lions.

Listen folks, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS WIN. And then we just need DETROIT TO WIN.

Damn it all to hell! It's not rocket science! Lions come out Steelers go boom! Meanwhile the Chiefs KILL some shit at Arrowhead. You want seconds, Marvin Lewis? WE GIVE YOU AN ASS KICKING, BITCH!!!!

WE'RE GOING TO GET IT DONE. WHY? BECAUSE WE MUST.

It really is simple. The Chiefs pull out a throttling win over the Bengals in Kansas City and then - BOOM! Arrowhead goes nuts as they show Jason Hanson kicking the game winning field goal against the Pittsburgh playoffs.

YAHOO! WE'RE IN THE PLAYOFFS!

This WILL happen tomorrow. Why? BECAUSE IT HAS TO.

If you don't believe me you can just STEP OFF THIS GRAVY TRAIN RIGHT NOW! REAL CHIEFS FANS ONLY!

I'M GOING TO WATCH LARRY JOHNSON CRUSH CINCINATTI TOMORROW! AND THEN JOEY HARRINGTON IS GOING TO PLAY THE GAME OF HIS LIFE!

CHIEFS WIN.

STEELERS LOSE.

TOGETHER.........WE CAN!!!!!

Even better, remember 2000. The Detroit Lions were hosting the 4-11 Chicago Bears in Detroit in the last week of the season... win and they were in. But the Lions blew a 10 point lead, and Paul Edinger nailed a 54 yard field goal at the end of the game to win it, eliminate the Lions and send the Rams to the playoffs.

The Bears coach on that day? Dick Jauron.

Well, if there WAS any chance of Detroit winning, this thread should be the kiss of death. gochiefs was doing so well with not posting threads about streaks, wins, etc.

Anyone remember the thread regarding Trent throwing INTs? Then he goes out and doubles his INT count in one game?

As much as it hurts, we would probably be better off if the Chiefs don't go to the playoffs since the longer we are playing, the longer it takes for DV to retire, which gives other teams more time to land the better HC canidates.

Then, back in 1996, the Chiefs lost to the Bills on the last week of the season. The Jaguars then had an opening, only to watch the 3-12 Atlanta Falcons march down and set up Morten Andersen for a 30 yard game winner. Except that he somehow shanked it, and the Jags made the playoffs, and went onto the AFC Championship game.

The Jaguars defensive coordinator that day? Dick Jauron.

LJ will probably run all over the Bengals. The problem is, the Bus and Willie Parker will run all over the Lions. The Lions will lose tomorrow. Therefore, no playoffs for the Chiefs. Too bad a few games(Buffalo, Dallas, Philly) they should have won will ruin their season. Sorry about the Sad New Year, but it's just not going to happen!

1998, last week of the season. The great Steelers under Bill Cowher play Jacksonville, get clobbered 21-3. It marks the first time the Steelers had a losing record and did not make the playoffs under Bill Cowher.

The Jags defensive coordinator that day? Dick Jauron.

2003. The last week of the season. The Chiefs host the Bears in Arrowhead. They win 31-3, clinching a first round bye in the playoffs in their first playoff appearance in 6 years. Priest Holmes sets the single season TD record.

The Bears coach on that day? Dick Jauron.

I'm the eternel Chiefs optimist......

However. DETROIT sucks and on the road even more.

Sqweelers know they must win and will.

We are sitting at home 10-6. more ammo for Carl for two more play off teams in winter meetings.
