This just in from the National Football League: Paul Tagliabue just announced that the Super Bowl has been cancelled, since you know, why bother since USC is not playing in it this year due to NCAA rules. Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart named Co-MVP's and USC awarded the Lombardi Trophy in perpetuity, or until Pete Carroll says otherwise.

In other news, the NCAA will be sanctioned by the UN for not allowing the Trojans to compete in the NFL this year. However, they have agreed to go light on the sanctions as long as Bush and Leinart are retroactively named to the Pro-Bowl.

From Reuters, a new book of the Bible (The Book of Reggie) has been unearthed in the Holy Land proclaiming all first born children will be named either Pete or Carroll depending on their gender.

Didn't you know that according to espn USC just beat Rommel's Afrika Corp 52-31.

Texas hasn't a chance.

I'm not sick of USC nearly as much as ESPN.... come on, putting USC up against the best teams of all time before they've even played the NC game?

If you go to the ESPN polls, most people are saying a Texas win would be a 'minor' upset (as opposed to historical, major, or not).... yet, turn it to ESPN, and it's all USC all the time

Yeah, but they don't have a hot chick in the stands drawing the cameras repeatedly. I'm losing interest.

I'm not a Texas fan by any stretch, but I hope the Longhorns punk USC Wednesday. That and the fact I support the Big 12 in Bowl season.

President Truman's advisors told him the only way to achieve victory over Japan was to send in the USC Trojan army. Truman felt the destruction would be too great to his fellow mankind, so he opted instead for the atomic bomb.
