I rarely eat fried food now, but what I do break down for on occasion is a fried buffalo chicken sandwich with ranch dressing. Fred P. Otts was always good for that.

Fried scallops are pretty good (and no, most places used sea scallops, cut in 1/4-inch slices to fry, which IS a waste of good shellfish). I'll bet bay scallops are good fried, too...
