I think I might have solved our WR problem in the long term. - Page 3

J.J. may only be 1' 7" and a shade under 6 pounds today, but at 5 weeks premature, he seems to have the size, foot speed and soft hands to project to a #1 WR.

He'll need to bulk up a bit, but he's got great agility and soft hands. I'm currently putting him through some specialty endurance "training" with an emphasis on building up lung strength. I expect he will be ready for his first prime time appearance in about a week.

Once he completes his early training program, I might take him down to the stadium and see what the coaches think. Do we have walk-on tryouts next year?

We have friends who had their second daughter a coupls months early back in September. The same lung strength process. She is quite normal now. jAZ wouldn't have to worry at all.

Congrats on newborn..Feel your pain with pre-me.

My boy was 5 weeks early at 3lbs 19" long.
That was 19 years ago. 5 weeks in hospital.

Finally caught up on weight chart about age 5.

No real side effects. Really couldn't tell now he was early....

The little f**kers are pretty much indestructible. You can drop them on their heads, roll them off of stuff and onto the floor, smash them, all kinds of crap and they come out of it Ok. Oh, you'll think the world has ended and that you've ruined them for life, but after another week of not getting any sleep and being peed on you'll forget all about it.
