Say no. If they use it anyway, and the local laws allow it without probable cause, at least you tried. If they didn't have the right to use it and used it anyway, with a good lawyer you will get off. It may cost more than a pot or pipe fine, but at least you got to stick it to the man.

I made a post in KC Fish's pot bust thread about an expierence I had when the cops detained us until a dog got there which was unlawful. Typically, if they already have the dog there, I think you're screwed. It's all about what your state laws regarding it says.

Sorry but if you decline a search they CAN"T arrest you or impound your car. They will call for a K9 unit and have the dog check out the car. If it barks-all bets are off. If not, they will let you go on your way.

I was asked and I said "fuck No, you had no reason to pull me over in the first place!"

After the K9 unit left he wrote me a warning for improper lane change even though I just pulled out of a parking lot and was stopped at a red light. Cops are such d#cks-FIGHT THE POWER!!

hahaha i wish they used a drug dog on my old car, the dog would of went absolutely crazy at the head rests. my friends and i use to blow shotties out of them. those things smelled so bad. could i have gotten arrested for the marijuana residue left behind on them?

The best way to deter the cops from wanting to search each and every car they stop would be to give them something to lose. If they search and find nothing they should have to pay you $1000. Because if they find even a little pot it will cost you that much. The way it is now they just walk away if they are wrong.

That's a novel idea, but if that were the case any search would come up with a dime bag. I'd rather they stop fining or arresting ppl for small amounts of pot. Or better yet, any amount.
