Who is the new GAZ?

Alright it appears to be true that Gaz has deserted the Planet. I think we need to have a new Gaz and I am opening the floor for nominations.

I would have to be honest in saying that the above is one of the reasons that I am not as frequent a visitor here....the civility has taken a downhill slide.

Wow, no way dude? You're kidding right? Who would be upset about something like that?

Before you name the new Gaz, you must quantify the new Gaz. That is, what makes a Gaz?

I will refuse to accept that Gaz is gone until I see an empty bottle of Tequila Rose lying next to his cold, limp Muppet body.

One must be level headed and witty.

He must be willing to meet with local Planeteers to watch a game even if a couple of them are Oakland fans.

He must be cool enough to wear a lighting bolt earring into his 50s.

He must be cool enough to put xoxo on every post and not be thought of as gay.

He should be a longtimer who has never had a problem with any fellow Planeteer, as in willing to stay above the fray.

You can't replace Gaz. If he has gone, I say we retire his avatar.

That was a pretty good time, especially since the game consisted of Good vanquishing Evil. I never saw the pics from the meet-up, I think I remember giving you the "rabbit ears" in one photo.
