Got around 8 inches of new snow here last night and today and winds gusting at over 40 mph. When I went to work at 4:30 this morning the highways had barely been touched. I hit a patch and started fish tailing, then slid sidways for a bit and ended up in the middle of the highway pointed the other direction. Thankfully I was able to get turned back around and get to work... and thankfully there was no one behind me. It was near white-out conditions at that point. Fun.

Yea guess Im gettin old,used to like winter..couped in the house now just makes it last longer and longer..plus the ice hasn't melted in my drive-way for 3 weeks....

We are at 96 inches of snow at my dwelling right now. It sounds like a lot (and it is) but it really isn't that bad.

I can't recall how long its been since we have had this much snow. Usually we get one big snow and a few ice storms.
