Is anyone listening to the Royals game?

I see that Sportsline has them down 2-1.

Berroa was Rookie of the Year, obviously not panning out now.

Teahen had a great second half of the season last year, and will start in right field this year and will hopefully become one of the cornerstones of this team by season's end. John Buck is still developing, but is a fine defensive cather. His offense sucks.

They got some return, but no, probably not what Damon and Beltran were worth individually.

However, both of those guys developed in the Royals system. I think Gordon will be great, but the Royals have to hold onto him.

He might develop into something, but I'd say it's at 40-60, at this point.
Yeah, I really LOL'ed at Minaya's comment when I read it.

He might turn out to be an excellent pitcher long term. I think the message Moore was sending is that A) We're not going to play the wait and see game anymore, guys who come up here better be ready to produce, and B) To be a Royal you need to have a winners attitude. To my understanding that is why both Burgos and Sisco were dealt...

Burgos was rushed to the majors. Our cupboard was so bare that there was nobody else to put there.

He could be a good pitcher someday, but he needs control. Sometimes he appears to have it, but in pressure situations I think he gets out of his head.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone teaches him to pitch and he's productive.

Burgos needs to learn to control his splitter and get a 3rd pitch he can rely on. He is not good enough to be a 2 pitch pitcher.
