New Car Suggestions? - Page 3

I totaled my Honda Civic last night and need to buy a new car. Because I planned on driving my civic until it died I really don't know what's out there. I'm just now starting my research in earnest but I welcome any advice, knowledge, or experiences.

I'm looking for something inexpensive, reliable, and gets great gas mileage. I really thought that if I made my Civic last another five years that the car market would be a lot friendlier to those terms in the future but I'm stuck looking now.

I test drove one the same time as the BMW I bought last year. It was fun, but there was enough that made me go ?huh? that I didn't buy it.

I thought about it, but that's a BMW product. I don't want to have to pay $500 a piece for new windshield wipers.

And when my starter went out on the Beemer it was only $375

On any given day while out on a smoke break, I see 10 - 15 car carries go by full of them.

Actually, they're pretty bad ass. But if I had the money for one, I'd probably get one of the suped-up chargers.

Look into a hybrid? Heck what 50 miles on the road....I had a Honda Accord for 10 yrs. Sold it with only 40,000 miles on it......bad mistake.

But I was able to get my Honda CRV after my Mom passed away. I love it, but 21-22 in town is not great with gas prices. I'd stay with Honda, but the hybrids are cool.
