First, he was right about Huard at the beginning of last year (98.0 QB rating).

Then, he was right about Huard at the end of last year (Trent Green was horrible and we should have stuck with Huard).

Then, he was right about Huard at the beginning of this year (Croyle to the bench).

So far, he remains right about Huard (we're in first place).

Now he wins $800 on a $40 parlay. HOOTIE IS A GENIUS. NO ONE SHOULD EVER QUESTION HIS FOOTBALL ACUMEN EVER AGAIN! LET IT BE WRITTEN! LET IT BE KNOWN!

Just because some of us believe that there is a better option than Huard to play the QB position does NOT make us half-fans. Some of us FANS would actually like to see the Chiefs have a plan for improvement instead of turning out the same old stale bread of a player at QB year after year. This year they went into training camp with the intention (or so we were led to believe) of giving Croyle the reins to the team and try develop some talent at that postion for the first time in 30 frigg'n years. After OUTPERFORMING Huard inthe preseason, he gets the bench and we get stuck watching one of the worst offensive units in football.

My desire to see Croyle play doesn't mean I don't root for the Chiefs. It's like a parent (the fan) with a kid that has average or below average athletic talent (the Chiefs offense). You know he (the offense) isn't very good, but you (the fan) root like hell for them to succeed.

You choose to drink the Herm and CP Kool-aid. I'm waiting for a different flavor.

I would agree that Tom Brady wouldn't be on pace for 60 TD's a game in this offense, but to suggest that Huard is doing as well as ANY QB could is nothing but asinine.

He has topped 200yds in 3 of 7 games. That is an average at best QB.

BigChiefDave claims that an average quarterback would have us at 6-1. Considering our lack of a running game, to be 6-1 we'd have to have an awesome passing attack to the tune of about 270 yards a game.

Throw away the stat sheet and watch his mechanics. Huard is horrible and his recievers have totally bailed out his numbers.
