Who's got the best overall team? MU or KU or OU?

If you just base it on conference only statistics then you have to say MU...the round robin tournament starting on the 24th will be interesting to watch.

11/24/07 KU vs MU at Arrowhead
12/01/07 OU vs winner of KU/MU at the AlamoDome

What's the chance of KSU playing with a chip onit's shoulders after the butt whipping NU did to them ?

It was NU and,

Slim to none. But they are a much better team at home. The offense is so inconsistent it's hard to say what they are going to do. If the offense gets rolling the defense gets fired up and they are a decent team. If the offense struggles the defense struggles. Missouri would be wise to run the ball a lot though.

I don't think ANYONE can stop MU's offense. Only hope is to contain them, hold them to 30 or less, and score whenever you get the ball. MU WILL beat you deep at least once per game... barring a catostrophic injury (Chase Daniel), that passing game simply has too many weapons to stop.

KU's best chance to win the game is to run the ball down MU's throat. Brandon McAnderson and Jake Sharpe need to gash the MU D and control the clock. Sustained drives that result in TDs and keep the MU O on the sideline... that's how you beat them. If the D can get a stop or two, KU can stretch the margin of victory; else it's going to be a close one with a sh*tload of points scored!

This will be, by far, the best game played @ Arrowhead this season!

IMHO, I think OU vs MU is going to be a lot closer in San Antonio then many people think & I think that MU is a better team.
Ok St scores more than Tech, and Ku's already played KSU. They are 3 & 4 in scoring in the B12 and KU played both on the road. The scoring D 's are so close that it's pretty negligible b/c MU has held their own vs the top offenses. NU's offense looks like its a night and day once they switched QB's. I'd still give KU the edge on D, and MU the edge on O.

You can look at a lot of the stats and it shows a lot of similar strengths for both teams in different areas. You can check out the numbers at link below. Some of the rankings are pretty negligible and others pretty big. The main number is the rank based on big 12 play vs Big 12 teams, the one in parenthesis is the teams statistical number.

Barely, and in a stadium where OU has only lost twice in the Bob Stoops era. Colorado beat OU so does that mean they are better than OU?

A game in Columbia or in a neutral site like San Antonio could turn out much different.

I think Mangino and his staff make excellent halftime adjustments. If the score is close at halftime in any game KU plays, I give them the edge, stats be damned!

Now Go, begone on your merry way. FTR, I want youto win this saturday against KSU, you should. But in the event KU was to win against MU, it looks better on KU's resume for the BCS games.

I wish MU would have gotten OU @Columbia this season. OU's offense hasn't been exactly spectacular away from Norman.

I'm just saying based on conference-only stats MU has so far been shown to be the better team.

MU vs OU on a neutral field should be a very entertaining game.
