Up by 28 he went for it twice on 4th down. He said "I really in that situation don't want to kick a field goal".

Not sure if there are any differences in results but sometimes not playing to lose does pay off it appears.

All you did was state his record in his first three years with the backhanded compliment attributed towards discovering Brady, as though it was just a regular 11-5 year in between two other campaigns of missing the playoffs. He got his lung sheared by Mo Lewis, and then when Belichick had to make the decision before the Super Bowl between a QB in his first year starting (who was an admitted game manager) and a guy who held every franchise record, won them the AFC Ch. game, and had QB'ed in a Super Bowl before, he chose the n00b.

That was a hella ballsy choice. Then he turned the guy he benched into a first rounder and offloaded that albatross of a contract.
