They just changed my nonstop return flight from Orlando later this year to a stopover in Milwaukee. WTH!!!? I purchased NONSTOP for a reason. Anyone else had a problem with this on airlines? I have to wait until tomorrow to even deal with the change.

I too am flying Midwest.
When I spoke with them they said it was due to LOAD issues. Meaning that they were not selling enough tickets so bumped everyone on my flight to a connecting flight. From what I understand all flight 601s have been eliminated from March on. Well, you have another 3.5 months for it to fill up. It is Orlando for crying out loud. I don't think it will be a problem to get loaded.

they moved me to an earlier nonstop flight. Unfortunately, it is so early, we won't be able to do anything that morning now. If they make another change to my flights between now and June they will be losing any possibilty of future travel from me. I only heard good things about them up until I actually made a reservation with them.

Of course, they can't promise that further changes won't be made between now and JUNE. Bastards.

Check into Trans Air. WE had nonstop flights to and from KC when we went to Disney World this past summer. We got a hell of a deal too. My family of six in June for $998.00 both ways.

Wow, the lunch and dinners are not even included in your ticket on a flight that long? All they give you is a drink and cookie? They never mentioned that the Best Care Cuisine costs extra when they told me about it.

Check your contract of carriage with Midwest. Go over it with a fine tooth comb. It may even be online.

Never mind, you're screwed.

OH, well that is just peachy of them. I am sure all airlines probably have that clause but still.... Screw the customer as we already have their money.

Oh I agree. They can be ruthless at times. Every airline has a contract of carriage. It's Federal law. It can work to your advantage and against it. But think of it this way. For every time that someone gets a negative bump, there is someone recieving a positive bump. Like a free seat upgrade, a pushed up flight. Sometimes we are on the good side, sometimes the utterly shitty.

I just hope that this is the first and LAST change to my itinerary. The only power I have is worthless. Don't fly the airline in the future.

This is the cost of airline travel nowadays. You can fly for cheap in the cattle car known as Southwest, or you can fly for mucho money in one of the other airlines. Either way you get shitty service and no rights as a consumer. Just wait till one of your kids wins the lottery and gets to go through the extensive security search.

Yep, six year olds are real security risk. I have heard about that.

I have an old friend that always got stuck getting the security search. Must be something about his look with the LOST beard and all.

Most domestic airlines are crap. Definately not Singapore Airlines standards. Now that's flying.

Apparently you don't know that can pay a little more to reserve your seat on Southwest now.

Also, it's not inconceivable that an adult would use a child to carry contraband or even a weapon onboard.

How did you find out they changed your flight. I have booked a non-stop KC to Orlando with them for June as well.
