Mon, 10 Mar 2008 14:29:42 -0700 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the St. Louis Rams and unrestricted free-agent QB Trent Green (Dolphins) agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth $9 million.

It will be a stupid move only if Trent sees the field. And that's a possibility, as Bulger had gotten beaten up pretty good the last couple of years.

Trent will always be one of my favorite ex-Chiefs. I wonder if he could have pulled off what Warner did in that '99 season, had that pile of shit Rodney Harrison not kamikaze'd his knee (in preseason, no less!). IIRC, he was like 28 of 32 through the preseason, just putting up ridiculous numbers.

Heh, it kind of reminds me of signing up for the National Guard during a time of peace and then shit hits the fan.

While I agree with most people that Trent should retire for his health's sake, he must have gotten cleared by some docs, and as long as that's the case, I can't imagine that most people would turn down that kind of money to be a back-up.
