Return game has as much to do with blocking as it does the returner.....

You know everyone thinks Devin Hester is awesome which he is but on plenty of his returns he seriously never even gets touched.

I don't necessarily disagree. But you have to have someone that can return the football, too. I'm not willing to say that Priefer is horrible until I believe that blocking is the problem more than returning. I'd say that there's a good chance that a good returner will help the return teams a lot.

Based on the improved performance of the coverage units, I'm willing to give Priefer the opportunity show improvement in the return game if given a reliable returner. Considering that skill players can be vital to special teams, I don't see how he can be judged to be a bust when he's had very little to work with when it comes to a kicker and a return specialist.

Though he's nothing to write home about in that role.

I'd rather give Webb a real shot at securing that job.
What has Webb shown? Only reason he is on the team is because he played with Herms son at SD State.

Who? If you have to go to the website to figure out who a guy is - it's not a splash. It's a sprinkle.

If I were GM and my team were trying to emulate and pillage an NFL offense, I don't believe it would be the Chicago bears.

Crimeny.....I suppose its time to make a run at Kyle Orton.
