Prayer Request I Need To Ask A Favor - Page 3

My mother was admitted to the hospital this morning with a stroke. I know that everybody says this, but we're talking about a very special person for whom suffering would be more than unfair. Her living will does not allow for anything beyond comfort care and, at this point, she cannot take food.

I'm asking that those of you who believe in God might say a prayer for her ... that she might improve, or if it is her time, that she not suffer.

For the unbelievers, just a positive thought sent the way of a great woman who is in peril would be appreciated. God will know who you're talking about.

Aw Fax, man...so sorry. I spent 2 summers in an ICU with my mom. She was ultimately able to come home, but it was rough. I know what you're going through, it's no fun.

I'll have you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers today.

Thoughts and prayers to your Mother and your family Fax. I understand what you are going through completely. The Sunday before Mother's day weekend I received a call from my sister in Spokane WA telling me my mother was in the hospital going into emergency surgery for a suspected brain bleed. I booked the earliest flight out of KC that I could get. My sister picked me up at th airport and we went straight to the hospital. All the time I was being told that she was in a coma and they didn't know if she would pull through, time would tell. Anyway we go into her room and when we start speaking to her we see her eyes open. She responded to questions by shaking her head yes or no and squeezed my hand. Her vitals started to go a little wacky and the nurse ushered us out to let her rest. That was the last time we saw her responsive. She went back into the coma and on Saturday, May 10th she passed away at 65. I am still in shock and disbelief that my mother is gone but it has only been two weeks. I pray that your mother will bounce back for you Mr. Fax.
