Don't get one. They steal shit, stink, and are ugly.

In other news, I accidentally killed one once. It was drinking out of an irrigatoin pipe while I was changing water. It looked at me, started drinking, and then stood up with its feet like a prairie dog. So I smoked it with my irrigating stick. I felt bad though, because they run down prairie dog holes and eat them. I wouldn't have killed it if I'd have known it wasn't a prairie dog.

VARSITY
I did a market research study once on pet pampering, and ferrets are the pet that is most likely to be put into costume by its owners. Admittedly, though, we had a statistically insignificant sample size of ferrets.

You want to be unique, wear a frick'n Derby. If you want a loving, loyal pet research a dog.

Wow - I'm not sure how I'd take that if I were Rausch. On one hand you think it's a major compliment - if the really strange dude living with his momma thinks you're weird because what's strange to him must be pretty normal to everybody else....

OTOH, one of the strangest freaks just called him weird. That can't sit well.
