PS3 vs. XBOX 360
I'm thinking about buying one of these systems, but am not sure which one to buy.

My last system was a PS2, but backwards compatibility isn't an issue for me. Also, I don't think I care much about Blu-Ray.

I'm mostly in to sports games...Madden, etc. Also, I'm interested in online gaming.

Given all of that, what's my best option?

The game library for PS3 suits me just fine, I don't see any games on XBox that I really want to play. It seems like 90% of games anymore are cross platform anyways.

One other consideration, 360 reliability seems to have been improved with design changes to recent models.

I had one die on me. Got what I think is a new one.

Frankly, we've used and abused the damned thing. When I'm not watching downloaded movies on it, my kids are playing Skate or Guitar Hero. In short, it's gotten a hell of a workout.... for a long time now. With the kids at home on summer vacation, I'd bet it gets about 8-10 hours a day.

No trouble yet. *knocking on wood*
