360 for games/online play.
PS3 for BluRay movies. It is pretty simple.

The game library for PS3 suits me just fine, I don't see any games on XBox that I really want to play. It seems like 90% of games anymore are cross platform anyways.

One other consideration, 360 reliability seems to have been improved with design changes to recent models.

Frankly, we've used and abused the damned thing. When I'm not watching downloaded movies on it, my kids are playing Skate or Guitar Hero. In short, it's gotten a hell of a workout.... for a long time now. With the kids at home on summer vacation, I'd bet it gets about 8-10 hours a day. No trouble yet. *knocking on wood* |
