He has put down a few track with Brotha Lynch, so he's ok by me.

Atmosphere's label, Rhymesayers Entertainment, features on their roster the amazing Brother Ali. That dude can rhyme. "Uncle Sam Goddamn" is a fantastic song.

So far from Atmosphere, I esp. like "The Skinny", and "Yesterday". Haven't made it through the whole CD yet though. |

First time I saw Ali, I flipped out cuz' I heard a spiritual line about Islam coming from this big white dude. Turns out, Ali is actually albino (and legally blind due to complications with his albinism).

Just firing it up on winamp now.
Are these CD's pretty easy to find? I mean, it's not like I've never downloaded files and never paid for them, but when they're independent artists who are doing something really cool and different... my conscience says buy the CD. If nothing else, I'm sure I could buy them online. |

Back to Tech...
I think "One good Time" could be Tech's "Only God Knows Why". They should release it as a single. |

Yeah, I agree. It's got legitimate mainstream single upside.

So, I downloaded Atmosphere : You Cant Imagine How Much Fun We're Having...
And the first song (The Arrival) sounded oddly familiar. Turns out it's on the Fight Night Round 3 soundtrack. Edit: On first impressions, I don't like this nearly as much as Lemons. I enjoyed the slower laid-back vibe. Last edited by KcMizzou; 07-12-2008 at 08:26 PM.. |
