If it is to edit the film to make it a better movie, than I can be patient. If they are delaying it because they think they will make more $$$$, **** Em'. If I can wait 1 1/2 years for an OK Farscape movie, I can wait 6 extra months for a Star Trek movie if it is EPIC. |

Are they wanting to compete with Potter or something?

Alot of studios are delaying their most "Commercial" projects until the summer now. Same thing happened with Potter, although i could not care less about that.

Well, they have 150 million invested in this movie. If it helps them to make a lot of money, thus motivating them to continue making ST movies, by all means, do it. |

Its interesting to note that the highest money making Trek flick ever is still Trek IV (The one with the whales)
Most of them were made for just the die hard fans. This one seems to be made to appeal to a broader audience. Its going to have to be to make back the $$$$.

Never a fan of Star Trek, but that doesn't look bad.

Actually the several facial expressions they flash on the screen, including striking Kirk. It strikes me as very un-Vulcan.....

Huh, Winona Rider, Karl Urban, and Eric Bana have roles in this? And good to see that they got Leonard Nimoy in as a cameo. Wonder if Shatner is pissed about not getting in (suposedly)?
