Not liking someone who manipulated others to kill isn't what I would call "mob mentality". By the same line of thought are you a fan of Pol Pot or Idi Amin?

I can understand finding something in a monster like Manson to feel sorry for, but that in no way means I want him released. This guy is a total sociopath. You think a guy in his 70's can't still be dangerous? As far as I'm concerned, what Manson did forfeited his right to freedom. Period. It's not a matter of sympathy. (Of which he had/has none BTW)

Are you sure it's not your near constant desire to disagree with everything even to the tune of changing your political affiliations 180 degrees in the course of a single year if the prevailing opinion changes in your social circle?
