Yea but when we faced good defenses, Oakland and Baltimore, we got our ass handed to us. We are facing much better defenses this year. I am not saying they didn't improve. Cassel rarely has time to throw a pass over 10 yards.

I hate to disappoint, but I don't think we'll ever SEE another Vermeil Line. That's asking so many things to fall in to place with a GM who seems rather iffy on drafting and developing those positions.

It's definitely going to be a run-first offense, just like the first two years. Cassel can't be successful in a pass-first offense, and Haley won't ask him to.

I am hoping for an offensive attack that has blazing speed out of the backfield and blistering deep pass routes. It needs a name reflective of these things.

I think this is sleep deprivation talking, but wouldn't the KC offense be most effective with both JC and a more traditional HB in at the same time so defenses can't key in on play calls?
