Family and corn are great things in and of themselves however nothing about that design says football, Iowa State U., U. of Iowa, or trophy.
Like Rust said, it's an advertisement not a trophy.

I'd do a variation of this trophy but have corn stalks holding the football with Cy-Hawk somewhere on it too.

Have a Corn cob shaped like a football or something. Mini replicas of Jack Trice and Kinnick, or of the two guys themselves. Have Herky and Cy fighting for a piece of Corn. Just keep using the old one. If Corn is that important to them, just add it too the old one. Pretty much anything would be better.

This old one doesn't really wow you, but Jesus at least its a football trophy.

The trophy sucks...It should probably be a bronze butter cow.

i'd settle for a couple pork chops w/ketchup and mustard for ISU colors and a flock of goldfinches for Hawk colors. Put a windmill in there somewhere too. And one of them cornstalk halloween decorations people make every year.

Just put a Hawkeye on it. It's never going anywhere but Iowa City anyway. Especially once Iowa State is banished to the Mountain West or Conference USA.

But hasn't ISU won about half the games in the last 10 years or so . . .
