How damn hard can it be to start Orton come Sunday night.

The Chiefs have 3 offensive plays..

WTF does he need to get down.. Throw to the RED Team!!!

He can read the entire play book on the ride to the stadium for gods sake so could my sons.

Red is good..and push him out onto the damn field.

You probably can't throw Orton in there immediately against the Steelers. You risk getting him hurt.

Best to let Palko run around and get pounded.

This. Then Chiefs fans will get to argue how the game was not an indicator of the direction of the team because of the QB situation...

He won't play this week at all. He may play the next week after that but it really doesn't matter. We probably aren't winning any games the rest of the year with either QB and Orton won't be the starter next year.

The upcoming schedule isn't as bad as it once looked. We get Denver and Oakland, who are both beatable. Chicago isn't the team they once were. New York isn't as tough as we thought.

We're not making the playoffs. But I really want to see Orton do well, only to prove to Pioli once and for all that the QB was the problem.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Give Stanzi the chance! What do we have to lose? The season is over and the kid might have what it takes. We won't know this until we GIVE HIM A CHANCE!

We will be underdogs to every team we play this year and rightfully so. Would you really want some scrub like Orton to be our starting QB next year?

Who said anyone wants this guy as a long-term answer?

I think Orton can prove, much like Matt Moore is doing with Miami, that this team was really held back by a bad QB. I don't think Orton is a long-term answer, but I think Haley is. I want Haley to show us what he can do when he's not handcuffed by a QB he doesn't trust.
