Chiefs held a private workout with Ziggy Ansah

@NFLDraftBible: NFL Draft Bible has learned that Kansas City #Chiefs had a private workout with Ziggy Ansah this wk. Due diligence in case they trade back.

I would tend to agree. I certainly wouldn't go north of 25.

There is a good chance they trade back with the Eagles. That is as far back as you can go and still get Ansah. The Lions at 5 are licking their chops in hopes of getting him.

I'm sort of with you. He's played what, 30 games in his life and he's already better than most guys coming out? What could he be 3-5 years from now?

What's the difference between this guy and Hunt (who will probably be around at the bottom of the first?

Hunt plays too stiff. He's athletic, but I don't think he's anything more than a 3rd or 4th round prospect.

So, what exactly makes Ansah this much better than him?

Hunt will go early in the draft. He won't be there in the third.

Hunt's a tweener in the 3-4. He's more of an undersized DE than he is an oversized OLB.

Ansah is prototypical for the 3-4 OLB.

I heard on Philly radio recently that Reid's draft trigger was removed years ago.

I heard a guy on Sirius NFL Radio going off about Hunt and his lack of lateral mobility. They said his hips are way too stiff and has horrendous technique.

Ansah was a soccer player and track athlete. He's a lot more fluid and explosive. Hunt is quick in a 3 yard bubble.

The thing thats intriguing about Ansah to me is how athletic he is and the potential that is there. I mean this guy only started 1 full year at BYU, im sure that if he started his whole career there it would be a completely different story. With Ansah its a win or bust pick based on his raw athletic potential.

Alot of people were against the chiefs drafting Tamba Hali too but look how he turned out. I think we should give Reid and Dorsey a chance. I much rather have Ansah than Joeckel if its not goin to be Geno.
