I think he's been the best by far of the Marvel villains. When Hiddleston was cast I was pretty meh but he's done an excellent job...

"I promised I would return for you" - of course you did- why else would there be a sequel- not for the money, for the promise.

"I will find a way to save us all" - Thanks Thor!!

It better be amazing CGI to cover for such a lame script-lol

We will hopefully start getting into the huge badass villains.

Thanos - will show up in Guardians of the Galaxy
Ultron - Avengers 2
Galactus - will need Silver Surfer but would kick ass
Annihilus - I am reading the Annihilation comics right now and that dude is bad-ass. Murders billions in the books.

This is why The Avengers really ruins these movies. There is no reason for the other Avengers to not come in and help. Especially considering this partially takes place in New York where Stark lives.

You can't tell me that the other heroes just sit back and say, "oh, Thor can handle this. I'll just sit this one out."

Yes, I know the majority of this movie probably takes place on Thor's homeworld but come on. You threaten one of Earth's major cities and none of the other heroes come to its aid? Seriously?

this was one of my peeves with Iron Man 3 too. Apart from it just being a bad movie.

heh, yea you sort of have to ignore that little plot hole.

I guess the Avengers just pick and choose what threat they want to challenge together?

I suppose this is how it worked with the comics as well but man it bugs me.

Iron Man 3 I can sort of be ok with because the threat wasn't "Otherworldly". I thnk they even had a throwaway line in there about "SHIELD doesn't deal with terrorists". Or something like that?

But the threat here is obviously from space, so wouldn't they need all hands on deck?

Keep in mind the whole point was that these people didn't get along, didn't like each other, and didn't want to be a team. Only after A1 did some of them start really getting along (Stark/Banner.)

Also Stark is the kind of guy that even if he was your cousin you'd say "well, he had that coming."

Banner tries to avoid trouble. He doesn't trust the government and isn't a team player.

Thor thinks of himself as a God. He isn't going to ask for help and if he did it would be his friends from home.

On top of that Fury only called all these people together because he felt he needed to.

And most importantly every flick can't be A1. In the real world you just can't afford or schedule all these actors in each other's flicks...
