Yea, and it was basically just a clothes line. Dude must have had a tree trunk for an arm. And of course we all know Gifford was a All-American sunshine boy from SoCal. But yea, that was a vicious take down.

It is called tackling, so you gotta use your arms. To many examples of guys just getting hit and still keep going. Especially from Chief defenders.

The first hit KC laid on Steve Young in 1997. Set the tone for the rest of the game. It wasn't DT, it was his counterpart on the other side I believe.

Yah but that's todays NFL. He actually lead with his shoulder and not his head. Had Moore and Knight switched the jerseys/team and the games in which these hits occured, Sammy Knight would have been flagged too and Moore would have not been flagged.

Yea he did a decent job at trying to keep his head up and smashed his facemask right into the receivers chest to just level him. I'll always love that hit.
