The Chiefs should be pickin 22nd, 23rd if the Packers lose. The Eagles are picking 21st right now. |

My thinking was division winners go after wild card teams no matter the record. Reversed of playoff seeding. With the Saints winning and the only lower seeded team that did not have a better record winning (SD), that would give KC the first pick of teams making the playoffs. I was just not sure of how exactly the eliminated teams fall into place.

Any chance we go after Arthur Jones as a replacement for TJax? That very well may give me an erection lasting more than 4 hours.
edit: Would somebody like Linval Joseph make a good 5 tech in the Chiefs D? Seems like more of a run stuffer, but maybe that isn't a terrible thing. Very large body for a DE though. As a Mizzou fan, Ziggy Hood intrigues me as well. Jones first though.

I think Ha-Ha is going to be chosen way before we get a chance at him...I'm for going with CJ Mosley to complete our already stellar linebacking core. He would be great against the run and add a third pass rusher for us. If not him, then I would go CB probably. I'm hoping Kelce shines next year, we sign Maclin to be our #2 receiver and maybe find some help for our secondary in FA as well. I don't want to wait for a rookie WR or CB to develop.
I would love to see us keep Albert but probably too expensive. Would also like to see us keep Jackson. |

Albert and Jackson will cost too much for the production. Take a look at the money for them and then what it would cost to get Byrd. Easy decision if you ask me. |

Please, the TE group is very weak and to say otherwise is just not facing the facts. Fasano cannot get separation and has zero speed. Hell, his lack of blocking yesterday was the reason Alex got blindsided, he completely missed on a double team! McGrath did an okay job but scares nobody. Who of our TE's does another team fear? Who do they have to game plan for? Maybe its just me but its a need for sure and there is gonna be 1 of the top 3 available (very close in talent) when we pick in round 1. Gotta take one if say the top tier wr's are all gone. |

I love Calvin Pryor. His stock is definitely on the rise. Right now most project him to be a 2-3 round pick but if he runs a good forty he could move into the first. He is really good all around. He's a lot more well rounded than Clinton-Dix.

Yep because God knows you can't draft a quarterback in the draft. Wouldn't be right, think how it may change our luck or change the way we've been so successful the last 40 years.

You pick up a developmental qb in my estimation, when you have serious depth. If anything was shown over the past 8 weeks of the season. The Chiefs have NO DEPTH. zero.

FTW
Also: Chiefs will go FA to replace Lewis. (Clemons or Byrd?) Stephon Tuitt has declared. Chiefs will take him #1 if available. Last edited by T-post Tom; 01-06-2014 at 12:03 AM.. |
