I believe Reid and Dorsey have done it
We have finally arrived. This will be the season we've been waiting for. The pieces of the puzzle are now aligned. We retained our coaching staff and we have a good one. We drafted starters at position needs. Peters will become the best CB in the NFL. Conley is a starter. 30 % of our team are already at probowl level. OL is upgraded . Alex Smith is in year 3 with Reid. De'Anthony Thomas, Knile Davis will ****ing rock this year!

The stars are aligned. I feel it ! This is it . Get ready for a great ride.

I don't think I can muster any legit hope. I mean, sure. I root for them and get excited for good plays, appreciate good football and live good players. But until they win a playoff game, I don't think I can legitimately believe we have something.

For ****s ****ing sake we should have walked right through Indy 2 years ago. The ONLY thing that jank ass team had was Andrew Luck. Charles was going to shred those mother****ers and Alex was going to pick apart their laughable secondary. And we did. Except it was Davis not Charles and Alex was throwing bombs. And we picked off the only good thing they had going 4 mother****ing times. 4. We had a 4 TD lead halfway through the third. Insurmountable. And the Chiefs found a way. Until they find a way to win. I may try to convince myself they are contenders but I don't think I will really believe it.

I think we are all over the place with our fans. Some of us say "no way no how". Some say "you need to show me first" and others are like "we have arrived". I'm sure these are responses based on years of optimism and then disappointment. I for one believe we will have a really good year. I'm not saying we will win the Super Bowl but I have high hopes for getting into the playoffs. I know I'm a new fan since I have a vested interest but listening to all of you and all the disappointment over the years, something good has to happen. It is just our time.

That's the cycle. I'd guess most of the pessimists started out as optimists.

I'm def to the point of "show me first" before I get invested into this franchise like I used to be.

The OL will determine if we make the playoffs or not. When the OL played well (Seattle, NE, Oak at Arrowhead) this team was very dangerous.
