Talib trashes Chiefs after Donks win yesterday

http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2016/...c-championship

Quote:
After topping New England 20-18 to advance to the Super Bowl, Aqib Talib and the Broncos were feeling very good. Celebrating a win against the defending Super Bowl champs might be enough for some, but Talib also managed to get a shot in at the rival Kansas City Chiefs in the process.

The Chiefs saw their 11-game winning streak and season end last week with a loss to the Patriots. The Kansas City defense struggled to contain Tom Brady and the New England passing attack. Talib made it very clear he didn't pull any tips from how the Chiefs played New England.

"We ain't look at nothing the Chiefs did — they got served," Talib said, via The Kansas City Star. "The Chiefs ain't help us do nothing. They sorry."

There is no love lost between the Chiefs and Broncos and that extends to the fan bases. Talib trashing the Chiefs — who will be watching the Super Bowl from home — had to be the cherry on top of the AFC Championship for Denver fans.
I'm not sure if he is just incredibly stupid, a product of a KU education, or the thin air has gone to his head.... Someone care to take a shot at diagramming his "sentences?"

Most of the college athletes at big schools are dumb as a box of rocks and don't really get an education while they are "enrolled" in college.

He's right.

The Broncos went out there and played aggressively. They took the game to NE rather than letting NE dictate it and spend all day hitting their first reads.

Maybe this comment should go in the 'we got outcoached' thread because the difference in the gameplans was stark and Denver simply had a better one. There was nothing to be learned by watching our tape because what team with a brain in their head looks at the Patriots and says "we'll keep everything in front of us" like the Chiefs did.

Talib's absolutely right and I hope the players and more critically the coaches understand why.

AAVE is a valid and linguistically studied English dialect with a nearly uniform grammatical structure. It's flawed to assume that Talib is getting Standard American English wrong; he's simply getting AAVE right. Why is it so wrong for him to speak in the vernacular he's more comfortable with? Why is Standard American English considered inherently superior? I don't know, something to think about.

The Broncos defense has MUCH better players than we do. Lets not forget.

Malik Jackson, Ware, Von Miller, Harris Jr, and Talib are all better than anyone on the Chiefs D.

We need personnel improvements more than anything else.

I wouldn't have watch film on how to get beat by NE either. I suppose I would pay attention to the teams that beat NE such as Miami. Why a reporter would ask about an eliminated team that got handled by NE last week. Seemed to be asking for this kind of response. I hate the Broncos the player and KU but what he said is right if you can decipher it.

Miller and Harris, yes.

The rest of that lot? No.

Sounds about right coming from a KU player. They just mimic what goes on with the faculty and students.

If Justin Houston is "IN SHAPE" then I can listen to the argument but the lack of dedication to his craft he showed this year after getting a huge payday is very, very disturbing.

The only thing I can decipher from what he said is that deep down he would really love to be Jeremy Maclin for a day.

You got this from his statement? I'm ignorant in Ebonics.

Reading your post actually does make his comment make some sense.

Sure thing, boss. The dude got leg-whipped and missed 40% of the season because of it because he got paid.

Oh well, you're still less of an idiot than Discuss Thrower.
