CBs still available include guys like Alexander, Green, Xavien Howard, Reed... All nice potential fits here.

Some really good potential interior OL left too who can be had anywhere in that 59-105 range, if not later.

Ronald Darby was selected 50th overall last year.

Can Dorsey find our version of this guy? I think so, or close to it. Not to forget Gaines or Nelson either..

Reminds me of a more badass version of a guy who played corner for us the last few years...

Sign me up. He played safety at Clemson but he should be a corner in the NFL in a press scheme.

But really, watch that video, and you'll see it too, anyone.

T.J. Green looks like Sean Smith 2.0

And that's exciting, because he could very well be a Chief. Or his teammate.

Why not just grab one at 28? Now they risk these guys getting sniped for a near worthless mid rounder?

My guess? They know either A) they are taking a guy like Green who only fits their type of scheme and a few others around the league or B) they will try to trade up into the 2nd or 3rd at some point.

He sounds like a better tackler than DJ.

Quote:
WEAKNESSES Open-field tackling issues are problematic. Too much shoulder hits and not enough wrap ups. Positioning and balance when tackling is below average. Credited with 17 missed or broken tackles in 2015. One-year starter. Asked to play so much high safety that his coverage opportunities and experience is limited. Hesitates to fire downhill after the run or catch, giving away valuable yardage. Instincts a work in progress missing opportunities to take chances and make plays on the ball.

Jack would be pretty sweet, especially with the 'window' being wide open.

That front 7 would be just stupid.

There's a ton of really good players who could be good players this year for us. Very deep draft:

Andrew Billings, Jihad Ward or Chris Jones would be great picks at DL.
Kalan Reed, Mackensie Alexander if we like him, Vonn Bell or Xavien Howard would be good picks at DB.
Emmanuel Ogbah, Noah Spence, Kyler Fackrell, Shilique Calhoun, Kevin Dodd at pass rusher.
Christian Westerman, Willie Beavers, Cody Whitehair, Evan Boehm at G.
Braxton Miller, Sterling Shephard if they like him, Michael Thomas at WR.

Ton of talent to be had here. ****ing trust the guy who just gave us Marcus Peters and Mitch Morse a year ago and Travis Kelce/solid LT in Eric Fisher 3 years ago.

Add Green to that list. He simply fits our defense too well.

But yes, we're going to have the chance to really get better this weekend.

It's pretty obvious that Dorsey didn't like the value...where they were sitting.

He's a scout turned GM...there is a method going on here.
