Dee Ford played a lot better than people realize. This was the first play of the game. Just throws the tackle to the side. Looked very aggressive here:
Here's the next play. Stout in run defense and didn't give up the edge or get pushed back: He didn't get fooled here and ruined the play. Pressure forced Rivers to throw it in the dirt here: And here he is holding the blocker in case Woodhead tries to bounce outside. He releases and helps make the tackle. Ford looked a lot better than last year and a big part of that is his experience and strength. He didn't get pressure early bc as you saw in the first gif, Rivers got the ball out fast. Beach tribe may be right. He's playing better. Maybe he'll become a consistent force as the year goes on.

Yeah, Dee actually looks pretty impressive therr.
The first catch by Allen is a coverage catch. That's easy for rivers. Looks like Patriots game bullshit coverage. |

That's Eric Berry covering and giving up that catch to Keenan Allen. He looked like shit today

Man, but I imagine the LILB was to watch the QB in case he bails. Have to account the QB, even if he's slow as ****.

Love the 8-yard cushion on their best receiver.... who you've got covered by a safety....

There are plenty of people that have defended or been patient with Ford. |
