Dee Ford

How about this guy? He looked good, at least in the 2nd half at least.

Dude looked bad as a pass rusher in the first half, but he heated up as the game went on.

2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 QB hit, 1 TFL and another pressure in the 2nd half.

Hopefully he builds off of this bc he looked like a good player out there. He bent his body and turned that edge quickly on the sack. He finished the play which is something he didn't do last year.

5 sacks in 7 games started in his career. Maybe he's not a bust?

I want Dee to do well obviously, but he's showing himself to be more of a situational guy. That's fine too when Houston is back and healthy. Just not sure if he'll ever have the repertoire to be an effective every down guy -- but hope I'm wrong.

Dee Ford played a lot better than people realize. This was the first play of the game. Just throws the tackle to the side. Looked very aggressive here:

Here's the next play. Stout in run defense and didn't give up the edge or get pushed back:

He didn't get fooled here and ruined the play. Pressure forced Rivers to throw it in the dirt here:

And here he is holding the blocker in case Woodhead tries to bounce outside. He releases and helps make the tackle.

Ford looked a lot better than last year and a big part of that is his experience and strength. He didn't get pressure early bc as you saw in the first gif, Rivers got the ball out fast.

Beach tribe may be right. He's playing better. Maybe he'll become a consistent force as the year goes on.

Yeah, Dee actually looks pretty impressive therr.

The first catch by Allen is a coverage catch. That's easy for rivers. Looks like Patriots game bullshit coverage.

Man, but I imagine the LILB was to watch the QB in case he bails. Have to account the QB, even if he's slow as ****.

Love the 8-yard cushion on their best receiver.... who you've got covered by a safety....

I guess you've got to mix up coverages but meh.

I don't know that what you are saying is true. However, if it was, a player most certainly should be given grief for not liking practice. Too bad, you are being paid handsomely to find a way to get better during practice.

Sorter, where are you?

I'm guess the ilb is playing the hook zones there, or crossers?
