See the pattern? Veach signs previously highly touted prospects or players, for cheap, to see what they can do for us.

He isn’t afraid to kick them to the curb, as we saw with Spiller multiple times, or demote them, as we saw with Erving. He’s also not afraid to promote them, as we’ve seen with Ragland.

As long as we aren’t too loyal to these guys and take appropriate action based on their performance (and not on potential), I’m fine with it.

Guys get hurt in pre-season games, too. I'd much rather go into 2018 knowing what we have at the QB position than to bring guys in off the street. I've had enough Brodie Croyles, Tyler Palkos, and Ricky Stanzis to last a lifetime.

My fear is that Veach is just a front man, and Andy is making the personnel decisions himself alone. The formula didn’t work in Philly, and we appear to be imploding in KC. Our talent is just not very good.
