Marcus Kemp has a much higher upside, IMO. Let him walk. |

That was what I was saying. I would like to have Wilson back but there is a price. As for Robinson vs. Conley I really like Conley. I think he has the higher floor, Robinson the lower floor but perhaps the higher ceiling since I think he is more athletic. A little more fluid.

The Wilson situation reminds me of a guy that we drafted in the late rounds in 96. He was a backup guy that wasn't thought that highly of. But he, like Wilson showed steady improvement and his 4th year he took a step forward and showed promise. The Chiefs let him walk to the Saints, where he finally blossomed and became a star. I was sick when he left, but even more sick when I saw what he became. Does Wilson have the chance to be another Joe Horn? Probably not. But it would be so Chiefs for him to walk and him to bust out.

Lol. It is just like you to take one part of my statement to twist it. Never mind that I said probably not before I said that.

With our cap situation? And if it means missing out on defense?
You think if Kelce, Hunt, and Hill are playing Wilson gets the stats he did with Mahomes? There may be a connection but some of you are forgetting that Wilson was getting a ton of looks just by default in that game. He was the #1 WR. |

If some team offers him $5M, they have more cash than we do. We thank you for your service, Albert.

Meh, best bet is some other team overpays him and we get a comp pick. He surprised me this year and definitely has improved but I think he has hit his ceiling and will only hold up development of the more dangerous and higher potential guys like Drob/Chesson/Kemp.
I'll also openly admit I'm biased due to his fraidy cat behavior in years past and t-rex impressions in big game situations but it has been a couple years. I still wouldn't trust him, imagine Mahomie driving for the SB win next year and Wilson alligators a 3rd down pass. I'll pass unless he signs something where he is easily cuttable at anytime without a huge hit. |
