He is worth hanging on to for Jaxsonville, he made a tremendous leap last year
I think you're talking about yourself, mang.

Tearing up the Steelers D is only an accomplishment in Kansas City. The previous week he was lucky that Tyrod Taylor was less effective than him and he kicked ass with his 0 second half points the following week. An Alex Smith like journey.

Bortles is not great. You want greatness and they know he isn't but it's a cheap deal until they find a good QB.

Belichik doesn't beat anybody, he just lets the competition beat themselves.

Jacksonville check
K.c. check (keeping sutton and trading away peters)

You watched one playoff game, dingus. I watched a coach hamstrung by a ****ing moron with an inaccurate arm try to make do the entire regular season with his awful albatross, and he ended up putting Bortles on a leash so ****ing tight it's any wonder he didn't just say, "**** it!" and run wildcat every ****ing down with Fournette.

Bortles beats Pittsburgh all the time? Alex Smith beats New England all the time, too. It's called a bad matchup. Stingy and opportunistic defense and ground-heavy attack were all you needed to beat Pittsburgh this year. They melt when you out-tough them. That's why Kansas City can never ****ing beat them.

Bortles improved throughout the year, but getting put on a leash is a great way to make that happen. In order to win tough playoff games and Super Bowls, you're going to have to take him off the leash a little bit, and when that happens, Jacksonville's going to get the old Bortles.

If you don't, guess what you are: You're Trent Dilfer.

Yes, it's possible to win a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer. Advisable? **** no.

So much they barely guaranteed more than what they were already on the hook for one year, now spread out over 3 years and making around what Ryan Tannehill got in a contract from years ago.

They value the hell out of him.

They could've been players in free agency, or moved up in the draft if they felt desperate about the position

Bu they didnt, because he played great at Pittsburgh, and didnt look too damn bad at New England either

23/36 293 with a TD and no picks

So save the smartass schtick for someone else

He literally just got a bridge QB deal and was nearly benched at the beginning of the year. They don't really value him dude

Tom Coughlin was literally throwing shade at him after the Pats game.

They gave him 3 years because they wanna see him be successful across a full season before fully committing to a huge deal, that makes perfect sense... go ahead and link up the 'shade'

I remember in the 3rd quarter when Bortles connected on an accurate, well-timed route on 3rd and 15 or something like that for a first down. The receiver ran the right route, he had time to throw, and it was right on the money.

The announcers basically mocked Bortles, saying, "That's the best throw I've seen him make all day, because it's something he's just not used to doing! Good job, Blake!"

A routine throw that ALL QBs should be able to make earned him praise.

Think about that one for just a second.

He didn't "come of age" in that game, dude. Especially not when he looked like Tim ****ing Tebow just the week prior in a HOME GAME against Buffalo.

On paper, his stats @ Pittsburgh are nothing to write home about, but he made multiple clutch plays that day that directly led to their win... he came up big in a high pressure situation on the road, thats what is known as coming of age
