You're such a hyperemotional little chica. Are you projecting again? You must be between 13-18 years old amirite?

Are some of you guys really claiming Tom Brady isn't that impressive?
Are you ****ing kidding me? The NFL and record books give the highest rewards and accolades to those with the greatest success on the field with most wins and fewest losses, generally in the playoffs and specifically in Superbowls. In the NFL, there is no equal, ever. Tom Brady never had the best arm, the fastest sprint or the strongest body. All he does is win, all, the, ****ing, time. As a Chief's fan I hate him because what he has done to us but I would never even think to say he isn't impressive. That's a moronic statement. Kinda like: Thomas Edison wasn't very smart. Michaelangelo did an OK job at the Sistine Chapel. Tiger Woods only gets recogniton because he is black. The Beatles were just another pop band in the right place at the right time.

I don't think this is really a different way of looking at Brady. Brady haters have a catalogue of evidence that he's just been lucky and in the right place at the right time. Last night is just more evidence of that. This has been laid out for years.
Is he the greatest QB ever by talent? No one is arguing that. But his achievements are second to none. I hate the guy but putting himself in the right place at the right time plus a healthy dose of longevity plus maximizing his own talent makes his accomplishments impressive. |

From all accounts he has elevated the culture of the moribund Bucs. Players raising their standards to match Brady's intensity and work ethic. Arians gave him plenty of leeway to run the O as per his comfort level. He even got to play GM for the Bucs this year. Mahomes has every quality that Brady has plus helluva more talent. I hope he has some influence in how the team is constructed and in offensive philosophy to maximize his championship chances. He must aim for longevity, that is the only way he is getting close to Brady. |

Brady's time in New England was like Michael Jordan, played for one team, year in and year out playing consistent and playing well and leading those teams to Championships.
Brady's time in Tampa reminds me of LeBron James, going to a new city with better talent and bringing a friend with him in order to win a Championship. Both are situations that are difficult to achieve and require luck and hard work. I would love to hate Tom, but just like Elway, I respect the fire to compete and win. Part of the lore is leadership, expectations and work ethic and Tom has all of those. When I think about it, he has gotten lots of breaks from refs, other teams silly mistakes, other teams injuries, and flat out crazy luck... However, it's hard to blame him personally for any of that, he has no control over those incidences. The good news is we have the next man up to fill that role. I think PMII has all the qualities and will be driven by this loss and Brady's success. When I'm an older man and retired in 15 years, I can only hope there is a debate over Mahomes or Brady as the GOAT. If there is, it's going to be a great 15 years!
