Bla bla bla, he's a playmaker, he has two touchdowns already, whatever.

He has seven catches for 93 yards. 1/3 of that yardage came on one play. At least two of those are screen passes I believe.

That ****ing sucks.

This guy needs to be a threat as a WIDE RECEIVER. He hasnt made a single play down the field. I'm not even talking 20 yards. How about 10? How about coming off the line, putting your foot in the ground, getting open and giving Cassel a target?

I'm not willing to accept the idea that Cassel is so god awful he makes all our wide receivers look terrible.

McCluster hasn't done shit yet. And he was utter garbage in Indy.

Don't buy any of his ****ing t-shirts.

It would be nice to have a returner that makes one cut and goes. Mcluster reminds me when I would get nacho cheese on the spin move button in madden and I would spin in place

He's a rookie, he makes mistakes.

I hope he learns from them and can be a consistent play maker for the Chiefs next year.

There is a difference between making mistakes and being a complete non factor.

He can't make people miss. He doesn't win one on one matchups.

Is he suddenly going to become more talented?

Said it drat day and am still saying it - I do not like the McCluster pick that early - just wasn't a good pick with all the team needs. I would have gone defense.

Reggie Bush did - just saying...FWIW, I don't like the pick but sometimes the game slows down after their rookie year.

Comparing Reggie Bush to Dexter McCluster is ludicrous and unfounded.

at this point I'm hoping McCluster develops into a Jamaal Charles light...10 touch a week back...play on some 3rd downs and spell Charles when he's tired and get rid of Jones...

Keep Battle if we need a guy to bang into the defense for a few yards at a time.

No reason why McCluster can't be a good NFL running back if you ask me...Charles showed flashes his rookie year but wasn't what he is now...and so did Sproles. No reason to write McCluster off because of a down rookie year...

but hey...they struck out Scott Pioli in 1 week on the job so...you better bang out hall of fame seasons if you want to be liked around here.

Arenas played every game, had 3 sacks, defensed some passes and made some plays and was a decent returner and is only a rookie...yet people already hate the guy.

ChiefsPlanet...where you're hall of fame or bust...even after 1 season.

I'm one who is happy having McCluster as a Chief. I'm exited to watch him make big plays for years to come. He doesn't have to get the ball all the time, just a few plays a game and kick off returns. Defenses have to account for him when he is on the field. He can make that big play that comes out of no where. I'm not disappointed in him, expecting more big time plays as the future unfolds & coaches learn how best to use him.

I think McCluster has a bright future as a Chief.

I honestly don't care what he does. Pioli's made more good moves than bad, IMO. Why get all hung up on the occasional mistake?
