Those teams were a nice combination of youth and experience. Dumars, Rodman, and Isiah all about 30 or younger. The rest in that 31-34 range which is prime years for an NBA player in regards to play. There maybe a slight decline in athleticism, but I'm talking about playing basketball not going to a combine. Same with the Lakers team that the Bulls handed their asses to. Almost all guys in their basketball primes. Magic, Green, Worthy, Perkins, all 31 or younger.

Iverson and Stockton laugh at the idea of 30 being over the hill for a small PG which I do agree the league was much more physical in the 80's and especially the 90's.

I'm going to reiterate and emphasize what you said.

There's no doubt LeBron is the best active NBA player. No DOUBT.

He just isn't Michael Jordan toe for toe.

LeBron actually has a great clutch shot percentage of around 43%, better than Kobe. It's just that Jordan is at 50%.

While it may seem subjective but Jordan consistently had that "it" factor. LeBron is off and on.

Must also be noted that Jordan played elite defenders. Dumars, Majerle, Gary Payton, and despite the clown shoes Jordan put on him, Byron Russell was considered exceptional at the time. This was in an era where players were allowed to hack the shit out of you because of really loose hand-checking rules. Starks and Ehlo were very good defenders as well.

Exactly. I think LeBron is among the best players of all time, in any sport. It pains me to say it because I can't stand the guy. But respect how he's come along as a player.

I fully agree with your last comment. It's hard to knock on LeBron because he's a competitor. But there will never be a competitor quite like Jordan.

Yep. Lebron is the new Kobe. He'll be the best of a 5-10 year window but not Jordan. He needs to be compared to the next tier of great players because that is where he belongs. That's not a slap in the face to be categorized with Kobe, Bird, Magic, Hakeem, etc.. by any means. Not sure why his ball washers and butt hurt by that.

Unless something drastic happens, LeBron will be clearly above all those guys if he hasn't done so already.

No. Hes not its just as time goes by we forget how great some of these guys were. Go reference my link to the top 25 NBA finals performances ever. Even I had forgotten some of those crazy performances and has Milkman already mentioned those guys did that with rules that made it much more difficult to do.
