aw po wittle webwon is tired

he didn't look tired when he scored a bunch of points in the 4th quarter in games two and three....so you're just cherry picking shit now based on whether the Cavs won or lost.

No idea why it took GS so long to pick up the pace. They could literally run the Cavs into the ground if they wanted to.

It's more of a reflection of the team than individual performance, IMO. It's not like LeBron is playing his best basketball. It reminds me of Westbrook this year. The stats seem unreal, but then you watch the games and it makes sense. it's almost hard for me to take 36/12/8 seriously.

I would normally agree with you. But I don't think I've ever seen a guy who was forced to run this kind of an iso offense all game long. Literally every play is running through him. Superstars will get some freebies off the ball. He doesn't have that luxury. Literally almost every shot has required him to create his own shot off the dribble. He is a Power Forward playing point guard. I'm more amazed the guy can even stand in the last quarter.

That's the point I made earlier in this thread. People who haven't played I guess just don't understand how physically and mentally taxing it is to have the ball in your hands EVERY TIME down the floor. You either have to score, or get somebody a wide open shot for your team to score. Not one teammate can create offense. No other player in recent memory has been asked to do this much. Oh, and you also have to continue to be an elite defender and rebounder. Oh, and you can never come out of the game.

But with all that said, there's no excuse for you not to shoot over 50%.

I believe GoChiefs is a Mav fan, so he's choosing the one stat that his man Dirk has on LeBron. He's a better shooter, no doubt. His narrow view of the basketball world makes that THE most important stat.

And everything you say is what has been so impressive... not necessarily the stat-line. That's all I was pointing out. Westbrook doing everything wasn't necessarily a winning formula, but it was their best shot this year. Unfortunately it's the same for James. So, I think it's a little misleading for KC Connection to cite a stat-line when trashing the supporting cast for losing games with LeBron's numbers as good as they are. They aren't giving him much help because they aren't asked of much (nor should they be). LeBron knows it isn't a winning formula, and his stats would be normalized on a better team, but it's the only chance they have.

LeBron is doing some amazing things and is playing close to his best basketball, but James probably just isn't as good as he was 2-3 years ago. No fault to LeBron, his play 2-3 years ago may have been the best ever.

I mean... I've been one of Lebron's most vocal critics the past few years. If people are seriously going to focus on things like this, then there's no fixing them.
