Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

As far as the cold starts go. I know what you mean. I keep a small 5 amp trickle charger going on mine pretty much all the time. Helps a LOT when your battery is 100%. |

I really have no idea if it's possible to reload a regular .22. I assume it would be a big pain in the ass, since one thing I've figured out is the smaller the shell, the easier it is **** up. Any .22 we pick up goes in the junk bucket, along with all steel cases. I really haven't given any thought to what we'll do with the junk bucket when it gets full.

Probably get more for the 22 brass than you do for aluminum cans these days. Haven't really looked it up, but thats what I am guessing. |

Does anyone have any experience with CMMG ARs? Good? Bad? Eh?

Brass, copper, and aluminum all have some value now. People are stealing it left and right, just to scrap it. |

Never heard of reloading rimfires, I've heard of people loading rimfires with new brass however. .22 brass is good for scrap, and some people out there make bullets with them. (Using the casing as the jacket and filling with lead)
