When things are going well, Peyton is the best QB to ever play the game. When adversity strikes, he's just a guy.

The team is way too streaky right now for me to expect too much greatness... slow starts, spotty defense early, etc. I'm just going to reset expectations and try to enjoy the season. I've got too much going on to stress about this on a weekly basis.

The Chiefs are a non factor this year. The Raiders are a non factor this year. Denver has the most talented team in the division across the board. Best WR's, best OL, best QB, good TE group, good running game, best passrush, best secondary, will have the best LB's once DJ Williams gets back, very good Special Teams. We have it all. And we are just going to get better as the season goes on. Bill Polian said that Denver's offense will be hitting on all cylinders by week 6 or so. The toughest part of our schedule is over and we were in every game we played against 3 playoff teams.

I agree with Whitlock for the first time ever. Manning has to throw so hard that he's unable to deliver with the accuracy he's accustomed to. In the second half, I counted three picks that were dropped by the defense, and all three were situations where the ball simply either took too long to get there, or it wasn't where it needed to be. Face it, his arm is about 60% of what it once was. He's still good because he is so damn smart at reading the D. Here is the donks problems as I see it. First off, they want to run the no huddle, but Manning is the only one capable of doing it. If it is loud or the D is moving around alot, the other guys aren't on the same page. I agree that manning is now just a guy. He's better than T-bag, but he's not taking them to the superbowl. AND, he's gonna be 37 this year. I actually like the guy, and hope he doesn't hang on too long. He got absolutely pummelled on two sacks yesterday, and one of them had his head jam right into the turf. As much as I hate the donks, I really don't want to see a guy of Mannings class go off on a stretcher.

Denver starts the season off with 3 out of 4 home games. If the Raiders beat them, that ship is going to implode.
I don't think it will happen. Denver played some good teams and nearly won. |

They're 0-2 against two teams that are 6-0 and they defeated the 1-2 Steelers. It's been a weird start to the season, but there really is no shame in losing to the Falcons on the road or the Texans anywhere to be honest.
The defense has played very poorly in the first half of the last two games, then they've started to settle in a bit too late. Same with the offense in both games. They're not exactly on the same page yet, which is to be expected despite what any of the fans said in the past. They've been in spot to win both of the last two games... that's a positive, but they need to fix what has hurt them in the first 30 minutes of the last two games. Peyton may only be 75% of what he used to be... but, I'll still take him over most. That being said, he and the receivers need to get on the same page. And, the freaking offensive penalties are killing them in key situations. 1-2 vs the Steelers, Falcons and Texans isn't the worst thing in the world, but the road doesn't get any easier really. Buckle up.

I'm sorry there's no guarantees with your Broncos no matter how much you want to post on here that you're so confident that they are going to be in the AFC title game when it's ****ing Week 3. Your dismissal of the Chiefs is cute though.
