Hell, if Smith had been in that game, I'd be willing to bet he'd have been out with a concussion before the game got delayed.

Let's be honest here, Harbaugh is the type of guy who tries to prove everyone wrong. It bit him when the played the Giants last year, by coming out and trying to throw on them early and often with Alex. The same thing happened when he tried to take on the Seattle secondary with CK. I don't blame either guy for those losses, it falls on the coach. Establishing the run game early for both of those games would have been the better game plan.

Yeah, to me he tried to pull a Bill Walsh. I don't blame him for that, it would have been something special and would have elevated his coaching status even more. I think he did it one season too early.

There are always one or two that will do this, and then sure enough, all SF fans get lumped into it. Me? I still very much believe in Kaep... as well as Smith.. and I hope both do very well in their years. I have no interest in comparing and playing the what if game. I am actually very pleased now that things worked out the way they did.
