As for the draft, everyone has stated ad nauseam that it was a bad year for QB's. Barkley hasn't even thrown for pro scouts yet. Geno, while the best in his class, is "meh". By all accounts, there is not one single immediate franchise changing QB in this draft. The Chiefs could not afford to go into the 2013 season with Geno Smith and Ricky Stanzi. After the first two games, no one would show up at Arrowhead. |

This is where you just look petty and uninformed. While you have many valid points, Alex Smith won a couple of playoff games, Cassell did not. So, enough with the Cassell is just as "talented" as AS. Alex, while not a hall of famer, is much better than casshole. He at least has guts and can win a playoff game or two. That's way more than Matty boy.

(The point I'm making is not "draft Geno" so much as that there were other alternatives than what they did; I think the idea that this offseason was "alex smith or bust" is short-sighted.) |

Wow, there you go again. OT would of neve happened with Cassel. Matty folded in the 1st qtr of out only playoff game with him at the helm. We didn't even have a chance.

Outside of that, his success is identical to Cassel's...and perhaps less so, since he's never even had 20 TDs. Cassel has done that twice. If anyone is uninformed, it's you.
