Is anyone else totally digging this show? Perfect blend of comedy, *light* drama, and storytelling.

Captain Awesome is my favorite character

Also, Chuck vs. the Angel De La Muerte illustrates why nurse uniforms fly off shelves come Halloween. Next year, add assault rifles, kthxbai.

That was a GREAT episode.

Yeah, it's a good thing that they had the preview for next week. I would have been irritated if they made it seem like he might be gone and left us wondering all week.

I thought they had killed him off as well. I was like NNNNNNNOOOOOO!!!! I guess he's one of the finalists to play Captain America.

Pretty sweet episode. Next week's supposed to be good, too.

Chuck and Sarah as "friends" is an interesting choice, and I think the right one. Crank the tension by having them both act like they don't care.

Chuck was down by 10 p ercent, but Heroes did HORRRIBLY after. There is no way NBC can justify Heroes numbers anymore. Chuck should be a no brainer to be back after all of the other NBC shows are bombing and have 5 extra hours now that bitch ass Leno cried his way back to his original time slot.

I haven't watched heroes since about halfway through season 2. That show just fell off a cliff.

I have actually been enjoying Heroes this year. Also, if you think they will can Heroes and keep Chuck I want what you are having. Even though Chuck is by far their best show I would be shocked if they kept it and canned heroes next year.

I had the opposite reaction. I def. thought Awesome had been killed off and was shocked, then thought -- wow, what a ballsy move. That's something that Joss Whedon would do! That makes the show even more worth watching if you're never sure what will happen to major characters.

And then ... the next-week preview.

Well, I can't say I'm glad that Awesome ISN'T dead. I don't hate him. But I don't get the point of setting up a huge cliffhanger like that, only to spoil it a minute later.

At the very least, I think they should've kept it under wraps all week as best they could (probably would've been spoiled on the Web boards, but I don't read those).

Heroes pulled a 2.1 and had about 4 million viewers. thats terrible for Monday night.

I'm not doubting your numbers, just stating that NBC doesn't seem to care about them. Like I said, I think Heroes is better this year but I guess they lost so many viewers last year that they are missing out on the improvements now. Of course, this is only my opinion.

No two ways about it though. If Heroes were to actually get cancelled, I wouldn't miss it at all. Chuck, on the other hand.....

This is the exact reaction I had. Except, this isn't new. Happens all the time in shows, not sure why.

Correction: Old NBC didn't care about them. Silverman was an idiot, period. I think Chuck gets renewed, regardless because of all the shows tanking around it.

The new leadership at NBC seems to have their heads on the right way.
