Wrong. In 2010 when we were "winning" I knew we'd get our asses beat by the Ravens, because we were frauds.

And if we "win" with Alex Smith and Luke Joeckel this year, odds are it's going to be a bunch of similar bullshit that wilts in the real games.

**** you and your merry band of homers supporting this bullshit. It's a travesty.

The only question mark surrounding Albert is his health. If his back is OK, anyone offering a defense of this proposed trade is completely in the wrong.

Oh, no question if it all works out its wonderful.

As for wait and see, there's nothing wrong with forming an opinion. There's also nothing wrong with changing that opinion.

So what's the update?

Do we have any new news? Any rumored interested teams?

He made public statements that hurt his trust from his employer. He showed them that he wants big money now and later. So they are going to move him. If they can get a high 2nd for him then they can draft a young LT and take a QB in round 2. If it works out that way they get an LT for low cash. They get a QB so fans will about drafting one and then they have insurance if Alex sux.

Only one team is interested in Albert because he sucks. Dorsey and Reid are brilliant football men for finding a suitor who will give up high picks for such a shitty player. Alex Smith is god.

If 7 professionals failed, and only one succeeded, and that success was very moderate compared to league average, odds are much more likely we'll see something much closer to the Smith that failed for 7 different guys. If Smith's success over the last few years was more in line with other elite QB numbers, one might say he's on an upward trend. But Smith's responsibility the last few seasons was limited to "Don't **** up". Even at his best, Smith was more conservative than Cassel ever was.

Second round quaterback picks don't win Super Bowls.

I said they're acting, not saying... their actions so far - shopping BA and scouting top LTs - tells us they think Joeckel et al are significantly better than Albert.

okey dokey shit for brains - what do you deem from the team's actions so far this off season? They love Geno Smith? They think Branden Albert is way better than Luke Joeckel? Read the tea leafs for christ's sake.

Anybody that thinks they know what's going to happen is entirely full of shit. Sans Alex Smith, this offseason has been real unpredictable.
