Even if you were to do that, the only bust that I can think of is Jason Smith, which was a ridiculous reach pick by an overmatched and incompetent front office and coaching staff.

Fair, but I meant it in general, not just towards you. Perhaps they have the same reason, but whether it be fans or media it seems some either don't believe Dorsey has real power or don't even know he exists(media).

The power lies in the mustache.

QB's have been busting less as of late, but they do bust more often than LT's.
Honestly though, all positions bust. There's no such thing as a sure fire pick. |

Why are we assuming Fisher and Joeckel are the only 2 tackles in this draft worth a damn. I believe I heard that this draft is the deepest along the lines. Moving back to 7 or 8 won't stop us from getting someone we want.

Almost 50% of 1st round QBs have contributed to a winning team. For LTs, that number is 21%. TWENTY ONE PERCENT. That's right - if you HIT on your LT, it won't help your team WIN. |

As evidenced by the Chiefs HAVING 2 very good tackles last year and winning TWO games. Rep.

I don't find your example to be convincing. Joe Thomas hasn't made much of a difference to his team obviously. Because the QBs he's been protecting have been dog shit, they haven't won anything. And Joe Staley hasn't either, until his team finally got some elite QB play. Imagine that......

Andy Reid says he'll evaluate 8-10 players for No. 1 pick. Asked why Alex over Geno Smith: "Doesn't mean Geno is out of the water." Smiles. |
