Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

it's the tactical treats that make it the complete package. You can never have too many tactical treats IMHO...

Jebus christ that a good way to make a tactical AR weight more than 9lbs. Throw money at an Trijicon ACOG, and keep backup iron sites imo. You can be a gear whore, but just don't gear whore the AR all at once.

Jesus this is what happens when a nerd spends too much time on-line reading about shit he knows zero about. "Why I think I'll order everything ever made for the gun and install ALL OF IT!" I really like me my new "leopard" scope!"

Actually I mainly sorted through brass. Two five gallon buckets worth. There's a good day's work for you. My knees and back are screaming, but we've got a shit ton of sorted brass now. Over a full five gallon bucket of .45 brass alone, and we have enough bullets, powder and primers to fill them.
Happiness is never running out of ammo. Two things I've learned to hate from sorting brass, however. First, the mere existence of .380 rounds and second, useless cheap ass aluminium and steel casings. |

And after watching all the outtakes, yeah, it's probably a parody. One of the biggest drawbacks of being completely cynical is that I expect the worst from people. So if somebody appears to be that ****ing stupid, I'm not likely to question it. Last edited by Frazod; 04-21-2013 at 05:31 PM.. |

My brother busted out an ACOG on his AR today. I was pretty impressed. It was light, and target acquisition was quick.
Nice piece of equipment, as well it should be. |
