Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

They were running and passing it down your throats all game. Von was your only defender that showed. I literally don't remember Dumervil or Bailey having a single positive play..

Also, they were up 14- 7 AND got the ball back after the half when Miller was playing. They were moving the ball at will even with Von playing..

Denver started with 3 out of the first 4 games at home?

Wow.

In 2004 we started out with 3 road games and a bye out of the first 5 weeks and people wondered why we started slow.

Yep an overall beatdown and easy to spot the superior team. After giving Balt. a game, I think the Chiefs easily split with Denver like usual. Especially if "Howitzer" Quinn is playing

Everybody may have crowned Houston’s J.J. Watt defensive MVP already this season, but hold fire a little given the season Von Miller is having. Last season we thought he was as good as any defensive player in football before injuring his thumb and this season he is every bit as good if not better. In this game his grade of +12.3 breaks the scale of the PFF player pages thanks to a day in which he dominated at the point of attack with speed, power and quickness.

He notched a pair of sacks, but had three near instant hurries as well, and finished with seven defensive stops in the game. On the few occasions where the Patriots found their running lanes blocked, it was usually because Miller had just jacked his man deep into the backfield and blocked it, blowing it up before it got going. The key to his big performance was only having to drop into coverage 7 times this game, because that is the weakest area of his game by a distance.

Anyone with a pair of eyes who has watched the Broncos and Texans know that Watt is playing better than anyone in the NFL right now.

Miller is great, but that defense sucks bad.

Yup. Still the same below average Denver D that allows any team with a nice offense to gain massive points and yards....they are alright at shutting down those bottom feeders though!!!

It's kinda hard to double team Watt when the Texans have so many other good players.

Von is CONSTANTLY double teamed. You cannot run on his side and you cannot let him pass rush 1 on 1. There is no defensive player in the NFL more important to their team than Von Miller is to Denver.

Mays.

I do not understand what they are doing with Mays. He does not belong on the field on 3rd and long. Maybe on 3rd altogether. He has played a higher percentage of snaps than anyone other than our safeties. More than our CBs. More than Von.

It makes no sense, and I really believe he is a large reason why our defense is underperforming.

We have a solid defense. Dumervil, Bannan, Vickerson, Mays, Champ, Mike Adams, Tracy Porter, and Chris Harris are all good players.

NE is just a bad matchup for us (and the rest of the the league). Denver's D will play better against teams who have a conventional offense. Bannan, Vickerson, and Mays are two down players and will eat run first offenses alive. They get exposed on passing downs though.

What happened against Atlanta, Houston, and New England was the SAME shit we saw last year when teams like Green Bay, Detroit, and the Pats pillaged that D with ease. It's Von and a bunch of shit.

We have nobody else to sub in for him on third down. Brooking is too old. Irving isn't very good. Trevathan is raw....

DJ Williams is desperately missed.

Brooking filled in quite nicely when Mays was suspended. Woodyard would be a better option to stay in on 3rd. There are a lot of options.

Mays should only be on the field for 96% of the snaps when we're playing the 2011 Broncos.
