indeed it does. I was far more impressed with Xbox's announcements today than PS4's. Although Shareplay sounds like the bees knees.

There is some chatter about it being a timed exclusive though. Even if it does come to PS4 it isn't a game that I would buy. Single player games like Tomb Raider and The Order are games I get with Gamefly, the only reason I bought Infamous Second Son was because there was nothing to play at the time.

I'm getting very tired of the timed exclusive crap both consoles are doing. If it is multiplatform it should be available day one on both consoles.

Ok I have a question and a dilemma...I sold my old PS4 a while back, apparently I forgot to delete my profile off of there. Now on the one I have now I'm seeing activity from my account on that console. It's nothing real big, just demos and a free game...is there any way to assure nothing can be done under my name on that console?
I don't have any CC info saved so nothing can be bought and I went and deactivated all devices and then reactivated my current PS4 as my main one, will that fix it? Thanks for any suggestions! |

Rise of the Tomb Raider Isn't Really An 'Xbox Exclusive' Yesterday, Microsoft dropped the first bomb of Gamescom 2014: that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an Xbox exclusive. Except, wait. It's not. Turns out this was yet another a case of shady corporate double-speak, and this is actually a timed exclusive. "Yes, the deal has a duration," Xbox boss Phil Spencer told Eurogamer. "I didn't buy it. I don't own the franchise." In other words, when they said yesterday that the next big Tomb Raider game is an Xbox exclusive, what they really meant is that it'll be out first on Xbox (both 360 and One), and then it'll come later to other platforms. Spencer wouldn't elaborate on how big of a window he paid for. "There are certain things I'm just not going to talk about because it's a business deal between us and then. Obviously the deal does have a duration. I didn't buy the IP in perpetuity." Compare this to the language used by developer Crystal Dynamics yesterday: Quote:
Or what Microsoft said in their own press release: Quote:

Cool. I figured it was a timed exclusive. There has to be a duration with things like this. Crystal would be stupid to make it a Xbox exclusive forever. Microsoft is pretty lame for paying for a timed exclusive. Not many people are going to buy an Xbox One just so they can get Tomb Raider earlier. Whatever I guess they'll try anything since the PS4 is spanking them so badly and they can't make their own exclusives worth a shit. I'm not a "fanboy" of either console and plan to eventually get them both, but it's pretty obvious Sony is better when it comes to exclusives (real exclusives).

Yeah I'm just talking about big third party games. But aside from Halo and Gears, what exclusives does Microsoft have? I'm sure there are some other good ones, but the PS list of exclusives is pretty long in comparison.
