McCluster has been replaced, period. He has likely been upgraded. Additionally, the price of DAT vs. the price of McCluster is going to go straight to keeping our ACTUAL QUALITY FREE AGENTS.

You HOPE he's been replaced.

Your point about the salary cap is the only salient point anybody here has made about McCluster in a long time.

The simple fact is that he's not as bad as most people here suggest. Not that anyone should be surprised by that.

McCluster was a below average receiver. He wasn't fast as people hoped when he was drafted. He wasn't as shifty as advertised, and he wasn't a great receiver. he benefited from a pass-happy dink and dunk offense last season to put up a wopping 34 yards a game.

I'm not pimping Hemmingway, nor Jenkins.. cause frankly they are both below average recievers as well... if not fringe NFL caliber players, altogether. The point is, why would anyone Champion McCluster in any capacity. Losing him does not hurt the team, in any way shape or form when you have another player like De'Thomas that has shown in one offseason\preseason game to have the similar special teams ability McCluster had with actual speed.
